Civil Design Engineer

Salary: $96,140 - $138,300 annually

What you will do

• Prepare civil engineering designs from conceptual level to detailed construction drawings.
• Perform and review design calculations in accordance with current standards.
• Act as project EOR, signing and sealing drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
• Prepare design reports, letters, and technical memorandums.
• Perform on-site inspection duties and monitor design standards.
• Direct staff involved in the design process and provide input on fee proposals.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-6+ years of related experience in municipal engineering design.
• Completed Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registration as a P.Eng with EGBC.
• Strong design, communication, and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License preferred.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with land development projects.
• Construction experience.
• Experience acting as an EOR.
