Director, Infrastructure

Location: Hybrid role available in Toronto or Montreal, Canada

Compensation: CAD 160,000–200,000 base salary per year, excluding bonuses, equity, benefits, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Lead infrastructure project delivery, cost consulting, project management, and senior advisory services for public and private sector clients.
• Identify, pursue, and win new business, including pre-bid work, client presentations, and a target of $2 million in annual new business.
• Oversee technical, commercial, and contractual infrastructure cost consulting services, including site coordination and progress assessments.
• Build client relationships, develop local-market plans, and identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with other business units.
• Hire, coach, and manage a multidisciplinary team while aligning individual goals with business objectives.
• Represent the business at industry events and act as a subject-matter expert and thought leader.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in rail and transit, infrastructure, engineering, construction cost planning, monitoring, and project management.
• Degree or diploma in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Senior-level public- and private-sector industry contacts and experience leading complex infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and quantity take-offs and use construction cost estimating tools.
• Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Strong communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
