What you will do

• Design and develop photonics test applications and workflows for automated systems.
• Implement and optimize digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms for accurate data analysis.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and NPI teams to ensure seamless platform integration.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of applications under real-world conditions.
• Develop technical documentation, including test procedures and application guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Photonics, Physics, or a related field.
• Proven experience with photonics components, fiber optics, lasers, and photodetectors.
• Proficiency in optical and electrical test equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or MATLAB for data analysis and automation.
• Must be local to San Jose, CA; no relocation support provided.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
