What you will do

• Design and develop laser assembly packaging processes and equipment for next-generation technologies.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to meet stringent quality, reliability, cost, and yield requirements.
• Develop process specifications using Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical data analysis.
• Oversee physical layout manufacturability and manage the full cycle of packaging procedures.
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish laser process specifications and performance standards.
• Innovate new techniques and quality screens to identify potential reliability issues early.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Must be able to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona.
• Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
• Fundamental understanding of laser and optical systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in a technology manufacturing or semiconductor packaging environment.
• Experience troubleshooting laser-based equipment and systems.
