UX Lead

What you will do

• Lead UX strategy, design standards, and delivery strategy across multi-team programs.
• Drive end-to-end product design by partnering with researchers to understand customer needs, define opportunities through usability studies, and analyze data trends.
• Conduct and lead human-centered research and discovery (stakeholder interviews, usability testing, co-creation workshops, and field research).
• Create and maintain design artifacts including journey maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, service blueprints, and UI specifications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure design implementation meets quality standards.
• Mentor UX researchers and designers, and guide teams through ambiguity to delivery in Agile environments (SAFe or similar).

Requirements

• Clearance: Secret clearance required; must have ability to obtain a clearance (Secret/Top Secret).
• Proven UX leadership experience setting UX vision, design standards, and delivery strategy across multi-team programs.
• Strong UX and UI design skills with end-to-end experience designing for native applications.
• Systems thinking and UX strategy experience, including guiding teams through ambiguity to delivery.
• Experience with Agile environments using SAFe (or similar), including participation in PI planning and sprint reviews.
• Commitment to accessibility and ethical research practices throughout the design lifecycle.
