What you will do

• Design human-centered solutions for a complex banking application ecosystem across multiple devices.
• Conduct user research and discovery activities to identify requirements and align designs with business goals.
• Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes, iterating based on feedback from stakeholders and users.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to translate requirements into elegant user experiences.
• Contribute to and maintain complex design systems, proposing new patterns and performing quality checks.
• Mentor peer designers and lead initiatives within a German-speaking product community.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a UX/UI design role.
• Expertise in user research, interaction design, and prototyping tools.
• Advanced proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken).
• Must be based in Romania.
• Experience using AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and automate repetitive work.
• Deep knowledge of accessibility standards and human-centered design principles.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, insurance, or other financial projects.
• Experience working in highly matrixed organizations or large-scale corporate environments.
• Active contribution to design communities or a track record of mentoring peers.
