Location: Remote, must reside in Illinois (excluding the city of Chicago)

What you will do
- Manage the full enterprise sales cycle for SLED, including pipeline generation, discovery, solution mapping, and closing.
- Execute a go-to-market strategy for the Great Lakes region, specifically focusing on state agencies and flagship education systems in WI, MN, IL, IN, MI & IA.
- Develop net-new enterprise opportunities aligned with statewide initiatives and funding priorities.
- Expand existing SLG customer relationships through strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Navigate public-sector sales motions, leveraging cooperative purchasing agreements, bid processes, and state-specific contracting vehicles.
- Collaborate with SDRs, marketing, and government affairs teams to launch targeted account-based campaigns.
Requirements
- 5 to 8+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a proven record in the SLED market.
- Proven experience landing and expanding enterprise-level public-sector accounts with high-value contracts.
- Deep understanding of SLED procurement ecosystems, RFP cycles, and state contracting vehicles.
- Established network across government and education institutions in the Great Lakes region.
- Must reside in Illinois, specifically outside the city limits of Chicago.
- Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
