TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Seattle, Washington, United States (Onsite 5 days a week)
Salary: $175,000–$215,000

What you will do
- Design and maintain backend services and data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
- Own system components end-to-end from requirements through production support.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and advocate for sound engineering tradeoffs.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical feedback to peers.
- Apply AI tooling and experiment with LLM-powered capabilities to improve platform efficiency.
- Collaborate with product managers and data science partners in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, predominantly in backend systems.
- 5+ years of Java development experience, including production microservices.
- 4+ years with Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
- Strong experience with Kafka or comparable streaming platforms.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
Nice to have
- Experience with entity resolution, deduplication, or data quality work.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design and service-oriented architecture.
