What you will do

  • Develop and evolve PlayStation's platform audience planning framework to inform product and marketing priorities.
  • Connect self-reported consumer research with first-party behavioral data to build a comprehensive view of audience needs.
  • Identify emerging consumer trends and shifts in player behavior to guide strategic planning for FY26 and beyond.
  • Partner with Data Science, Consumer Insights, and Analytics teams to map actionable audience segments.
  • Translate complex quantitative and qualitative data into clear recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Enhance audience segmentation capabilities to improve acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Audience Strategy, Consumer Insights, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and opportunities across multiple data sources.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with analytics, research, and product teams.
  • Must be based in or able to work from San Mateo, CA under a hybrid policy.

Nice to have

  • Experience in gaming, entertainment, or consumer-focused digital subscription services.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping, lifecycle marketing, or audience planning methodologies.
  • Knowledge of first-party data ecosystems, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and marketing technology.
  • Passion for gaming and understanding player behaviors and motivations.
