Technical Project Manager (Finance)

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) in New York City, NY or Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end finance systems transformation, including assessment, planning, and execution.
• Evaluate and select future-state ERP and financial systems to align with business needs.
• Define and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Oversee data migration, testing, and cutover activities, including post-go-live stabilization.
• Coordinate with system integrators, vendors, and contract resources to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline planning, reporting, and overall delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management.
• Expert knowledge of Finance systems and business processes (GL, AP/AR, FP&A).
• Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or transformations (SAP and Workday preferred).
• Proven ability to optimize workflows in Jira through automated processes and tool integration.
• Experience managing vendors and system integrators (SI).
• Must be based in or able to commute to New York City, NY or Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Nice to have

• Experience leading large-scale transformations across corporate back-office functions (HR, Payroll, Procurement, Legal).
• Experience using AI tools to improve professional workflows and efficiency.
