Senior Project Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Project Manager (Fintech): Leading implementation projects for new and existing Aiviq clients, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Focus on managing multi-phase projects, acting as the primary client contact, and handling risk, issue, and change management.

Location: This role will be located in the U.S although we are a hybrid team with frequent remote working and broader flexible working options available.

Salary: $140,000 to $185,000, subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.

What you will do

• Run multi-phase projects (Solution Design, Development, Test, and BAU transition) with internal and client teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client resources, understanding product features and data challenges.
• Manage all project aspects from initiation to close, including planning, risk, issue, dependency, testing, budget, and change management.
• Undertake BA or data analysis work where not covered by the project Technical BA.
• Manage internal and client-facing status reporting and provide regular updates.
• Chair project stand-up and steering committee meetings, producing necessary materials and sharing agreed actions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management experience in FinTech or consultancy roles.
• Ability to quickly grasp new business data domains.
• Excellent communication skills towards project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience in handling challenging conversations with clients.

Nice to have

• Broad knowledge of the asset management industry and key business functions.
• Formal Project Management training (PMP, Prince2 Agile, etc.).
