Location: Remote-first, but must be based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Canada to accommodate occasional in-person needs

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead a software development team following Agile processes and practicing continuous delivery.
• Mentor, coach, and develop software engineers of varying experience levels to increase their impact.
• Facilitate solution design and perform code peer reviews for the ScriptRunner for Confluence Cloud product.
• Collaborate with the Product team to set priorities and provide updates to key stakeholders.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and the creation of development plans for direct reports.
• Respond to product incidents and assist with critical support escalations.

Requirements

• Strong backend development skills in Java, Groovy, or Python.
• Proficiency in a frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience coaching junior engineers and leading Agile ceremonies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent).
• Understanding of microservices-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs.
• Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Canada

Nice to have

• Experience with the Atlassian Ecosystem and plugin development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Groovy, React, and TypeScript.
• AWS Certification.
• Experience developing applications using serverless architecture.
