TL;DR

IT Support Specialist (SaaS): Providing technical assistance and end-user support for hardware and software across the organization with an accent on system reliability, security, and performance. Focus on diagnosing hardware and network issues, managing user accounts, and implementing effective technical solutions for a distributed workforce.

Location: On-site in New York City, NY, 5 days per week (Monday-Friday)

What you will do

  • Respond to and resolve technical support requests, diagnosing basic hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot desktop/laptop computers, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Manage employee user accounts and hardware assets using end-point and asset management tooling.
  • Utilize and maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions to streamline support.
  • Assist with projects to consolidate internal tools and integrate single sign-on (SSO).
  • Document resolutions in the ticketing system and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in IT support or a help desk environment.
  • Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience with common productivity software such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP).
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be based in New York City and able to work on-site 5 days per week.
