IT Support Engineer

TL;DR

IT Support Engineer (macOS/MDM): Own end-to-end technology support for the San Francisco office, executive team, and warehouse operations with an accent on reliable devices, networks, and scalable IT operations. Focus on building automation, documentation, and infrastructure playbooks that eliminate recurring issues while supporting leaders in real time.

Location: San Francisco (hybrid) — at least three days per week in the San Francisco Presidio office, 1–2 days per week hands-on at the South San Francisco warehouse, plus travel to merchant sites as needed.

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 base, plus pre-IPO equity.

What you will do

• Serve as the IT backbone for the San Francisco office: hardware, WiFi, and conference room technology that works reliably.
• Provide white-glove device and AV support for executives to keep meetings and calls on track.
• Build scalable IT systems and playbooks for asset management, onboarding, and network infrastructure.
• Own warehouse IT stack reliability for scanners, terminals, and printers, keeping systems online, documented, and resilient.
• Partner with Security and Platform on endpoint posture, MDM configuration, and SaaS access controls.

Requirements

• Location: Be based in San Francisco and work a hybrid schedule (min. three days/week in the Presidio office, plus regular warehouse coverage and travel as needed).
• Strong macOS fluency; solid working knowledge of iOS, with ideally exposure to ChromeOS and Android.
• Experience managing device fleets end-to-end (MDM enrollment, imaging, asset tracking) with clean documentation.
• Comfort with networking fundamentals: configuring APs, troubleshooting connectivity, and handling basic VLAN/WiFi work.
• Admin-level experience with tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack.
• Ability to automate repetitive IT work (MDM workflows, scripting, ticket routing) and operate with real ownership.
