Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Onsite 4 days per week)
Salary: $90,000–$110,000

What you will do
- Execute end-to-end bi-weekly and semi-monthly U.S. payroll for salaried and hourly employees.
- Coordinate with international payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate global payroll submissions.
- Reconcile timekeeping records, benefit deductions, and payroll variances.
- Maintain employee records including new hires, terminations, and tax withholding elections.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
- Produce standard and ad hoc reports for HR and Finance leadership.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of payroll processing experience within an HR function.
- Must be based in New York, NY and able to work onsite 4 days per week.
- Strong knowledge of federal, NYS, and NYC wage and tax laws.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS/payroll platforms like UKG, Workday, or Deel.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Experience working with international payroll vendors or third-party providers.
Nice to have
- FPC or CPP certification.
- Exposure to equity compensation (RSU/ESPP) processing.
- Experience with shadow payroll or expatriate programs.
- Knowledge of EMEA, APAC, or Latin American payroll jurisdictions.
