What you will do
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-entity structures using ADP Workforce Now.
- Maintain state and local tax registrations and withholding configurations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including FLSA.
- Administer incentive compensation, bonus calculations, and equity-related payroll entries.
- Collaborate with Finance to prepare journal entries and reconcile payroll liability accounts.
- Serve as the functional system administrator for payroll modules within ADP WFN and build custom reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years of payroll management experience, including multi-state payroll for 300+ employees.
- Expert-level proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (Payroll, Smart Compliance, Reporting).
- Strong working knowledge of federal and multi-state wage and hour laws.
- Experience with year-end W-2 and ACA 1095-C processes.
- Advanced Excel skills for payroll reconciliation and data analysis.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required (E-Verify).
Nice to have
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) credential.
- Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or multi-entity organizations.
- Knowledge of administering leave pay offsets (NY DBL, NY PFL, NJ TDI, CA SDI, Unum STD).
- Experience with Jira Service Management or similar ticketing platforms.
