TL;DR

Account Executive (Edtech): Driving the growth of the hirify.global platform by managing the full sales cycle and expanding its adoption across K-12 schools and districts with an accent on pipeline management and relationship building with educational leaders. Focus on converting free users to paid subscriptions and hitting quarterly revenue targets through strategic outbound prospecting.

Location: Full Office: 5 days a week in Chicago, IL

Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 (Total Compensation)

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through demos, proposals, and closing.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with teachers, school administrators, and district leaders.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential schools within the assigned territory through outbound research and inbound follow-up.
  • Convert active users of the free version of hirify.global into paid Pro opportunities.
  • Manage a healthy sales pipeline and maintain accurate data within the CRM.
  • Represent the company at conferences, webinars, and district meetings as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of professional sales experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to pipeline management.
  • Must be based in Chicago for a 5-day-a-week office presence.
  • Ability to travel 8-12% for conferences and customer visits.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in Edtech sales.
  • Interest in learning how to code.
