What you will do
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling and strategic networking.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with transportation directors and key decision-makers in the K-12 sector.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations to showcase software value and capabilities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing and successful client onboarding.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute targeted client acquisition strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions within the CRM system.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States with the ability to travel for conferences and client visits.
- 3-5+ years of proven sales experience, specifically within the edtech or govtech sectors.
- Strong entrepreneurial drive with a focus on building and scaling sales organizations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex software solutions clearly.
- High proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
- Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
