What you will do

• Lead innovation engineering initiatives from discovery through delivery, translating ambiguous opportunities into executable plans.
• Manage and develop direct-report engineers, including performance management, coaching, and career development.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to align priorities and create practical paths for new capabilities.
• Identify and resolve organizational, technical, and process barriers to accelerate the delivery of net-new technologies.
• Provide technical program leadership by coordinating dependencies, monitoring progress, and managing risks.
• Drive organizational planning for the Innovation function, including resourcing and budget input.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering or product engineering.
• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams with direct people management responsibility.
• 4+ years of experience leading cross-functional technical programs spanning multiple teams and systems.
• Demonstrated experience delivering ambiguous, innovation-focused technical initiatives from concept to execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI and data science.
• Cloud certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
• Web development experience (frontend or backend).
