Workday Solutions Manager (Payroll & Absence)

Location: Remote in the United States; listed location: Plantation, FL. Travel expectation is approximately 10%.

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 per year, plus 401(k) and eligible equity grants.

What you will do

• Manage Workday configuration and functionality for the Payroll and Absence modules.
• Translate HR business needs into technical requirements and scalable, documented solutions.
• Own the roadmap and Jira backlog, prioritizing enhancements, issues, and release work.
• Deliver system improvements through discovery, configuration, SIT/UAT testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Lead semiannual Workday release management, including impact assessment, testing coordination, communications, and deployment planning.
• Document processes, functional specifications, test cases, user guides, training materials, and change communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Workday configuration experience with expertise in Payroll and Absence.
• Experience supporting Workday configuration and testing activities.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and Jira or similar backlog management tools.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Customer-service orientation and interest in HR technology, product ownership, and user experience.
