Senior Accountant (AI)

Salary: $115,000–$140,000

What you will do

• Execute timely monthly close, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Manage AP and AR end-to-end, including vendor invoices and collections.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and balance sheets.
• Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policy.
• Support annual financial audits by preparing schedules and organizing documentation.
• Develop AI-powered workflows to automate and eliminate manual accounting tasks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience with solid GAAP knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience implementing AI or automation to improve accounting workflows.
• Proficiency in general ledger systems, preferably NetSuite or similar ERP.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Must be based in or commutable to New York, NY.
