TL;DR

Salary: $104,000 – $166,000 per year

hirify.global is developing the hirify.global Driver to bring safer, more efficient, and accessible self-driving technology to mobility and logistics.

What you will do

  • Manage complex accounting processes, including recording journal entries and preparing account reconciliations.
  • Review journal entries and reconciliations prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and GAAP adherence.
  • Perform financial statement analysis and variance analysis during month-end close.
  • Support quarterly reviews and annual audits as a primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Execute key SOX controls, maintain documentation, and identify risk mitigation opportunities.
  • Spearhead process automation initiatives by evaluating and implementing AI solutions to scale operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience; public company audit experience is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, with expertise in leases preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational controls.
  • Experience using NetSuite is preferred.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Pittsburgh, PA office at least 3 days per week.

  • CPA or international equivalent certification.
