Advanced Scrum Master (Finance)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid workplace model with at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Lead one or more Scrum teams or medium-to-large technology projects within the finance systems portfolio.
• Facilitate release and sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.
• Partner with Product Owners, developers, architects, and delivery managers to refine backlogs and improve delivery practices.
• Identify and remove risks and impediments, communicate progress, and manage governance checkpoints.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing with end users and facilitate technical discussions to resolve delivery challenges.
• Create and oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and delivery documentation.

Requirements

• Experience leading Scrum or project teams in Agile, Scrum, waterfall, or other iterative delivery environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with production releases every 2–4 weeks.
• Good exposure to Agile sizing techniques and improving team maturity, productivity, and velocity.
• Familiarity with knowledge management tools such as SharePoint and Confluence.
• Ability to work in the Houston office at least four full days per week.

Nice to have

• Scrum Master certification.
• Scaled Agile Framework certification.
