TL;DR

Advanced Scrum Master (Finance): Leading Scrum teams and managing technology projects for the Finance systems portfolio with an accent on Agile/Scrum execution and stakeholder engagement. Focus on driving continuous improvement, optimizing team velocity, and coordinating cross-functional delivery within a fast-paced environment.

Location: Houston, Texas. Must spend at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day execution of one or more Scrum or project teams within the Finance systems portfolio.
  • Facilitate release and sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with Product Owners to organize, prioritize the product backlog, and refine functionality.
  • Identify and remove impediments and risks impacting release and program-level teams.
  • Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and milestones across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate UAT testing with end users and facilitate technical discussions with Architects and Developers.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with production releases every 2-4 weeks.
  • Strong experience with Agile sizing techniques and improving team maturity and velocity.
  • Proficiency with knowledge management tools such as SharePoint and Confluence.
  • Must be based in Houston, Texas, to comply with the 4-day in-office workplace model.

Nice to have

  • Scrum Master certification.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification.
