Senior Technical Project Manager (Insurance)

Location: Remote within the U.S.; candidates must reside in one of the specified eligible states or Washington, DC. Initial on-site orientation at a local U.S. office and potential client travel are required.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects supporting insurance functions including Policy, Claims, Underwriting, and Billing.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, vendors, and leadership to define requirements and delivery plans.
• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and track progress using Jira or similar tools.
• Coordinate application integrations, system upgrades, production releases, and delivery milestones.
• Provide status updates while ensuring quality, security, compliance, and regulatory expectations are met.

Requirements

• Experience managing end-to-end technology projects in insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance business functions such as Policy, Claims, Underwriting, and Billing.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery teams, vendors, integrations, system upgrades, and production releases.
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies and using Jira or similar project-tracking tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to report clearly to business, technical, and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Guidewire, Salesforce, Duck Creek, or other insurance technology platforms.
• PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, Agile, or related project delivery certification.
• Experience with system modernization, data migration, or cloud-based delivery initiatives.
