Project Manager (Agile DevSecOps)

Location: 100% remote within the continental United States; listed location is Austin, TX.

hirify.global supports a large federal government healthcare modernization project and Department of Veterans Affairs DevSecOps initiatives.

What you will do

• Manage application and systems projects from intake through customer delivery using the SAFe DevSecOps framework.
• Lead Agile Scrum teams, products, and processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with technical leads on CI/CD pipelines, application delivery, and infrastructure modernization.
• Develop and manage schedules, costs, performance metrics, milestones, risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Present project vision, strategy, roadmaps, and planned deliveries to VA leadership and governance groups.
• Coordinate priorities, dependencies, and implementation strategies across the broader portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical discipline, plus at least 8 years of relevant IT project management experience.
• Extensive experience managing complex, large-scale IT projects across the full application or systems development lifecycle.
• Experience leading Agile Scrum teams in software development environments.
• Ability to manage project costs, schedules, performance, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentations.
• U.S. citizenship is required; selected candidates must complete a background check and be able to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance when required.

Nice to have

• PMP, SAFe, Scrum, or another relevant project management or Agile certification.
• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or another federal government agency.
• Strategic management or management consulting experience.
