What you will do

  • Define and implement release schedules, ensuring deadlines and business needs are met.
  • Manage the release pipeline and coordinate activities across development, QA, operations, and support teams.
  • Oversee the full release lifecycle from planning and development to deployment and post-release support.
  • Identify risks and bottlenecks in the release process and develop mitigation strategies to minimize business disruptions.
  • Analyze release effectiveness and drive adoption of industry best practices to increase efficiency and predictability.
  • Optimize the release management toolkit, including Jira, GitLab, and LaunchDarkly, to automate and streamline the pipeline.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related work experience.
  • Deep understanding of the SDLC, specifically CI/CD and release management.
  • Expertise in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to articulate technical concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
