Advanced Scrum Master (Finance)

Location: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada; hybrid workplace model with at least four full days per week in an hirify.global office.

Salary: CAD 65,000–75,000 per year, plus incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day execution of one or more Scrum or project teams across the Finance systems technology portfolio.
• Facilitate release and sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, status reporting, and governance checkpoints.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine backlogs, define projects, develop business cases, and select execution methodologies.
• Identify and remove risks and impediments, escalate issues, and support continuous improvement in team maturity and delivery performance.
• Coordinate UAT testing with end users and facilitate technical discussions with architects and developers.
• Create and oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, and milestones while standardizing delivery best practices.

Requirements

• Experience leading Scrum teams or managing medium-to-large technology projects across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with production releases every 2–4 weeks.
• Good exposure to Agile sizing techniques and methods for improving team velocity and productivity.
• Knowledge of knowledge management tools such as SharePoint and Confluence.
• Ability to engage business and technical stakeholders and communicate project progress through regular reporting.
