Advanced Scrum Master (Finance)

TL;DR

Advanced Scrum Master (Finance): Leading Scrum teams and managing technology projects for the Finance systems portfolio with an accent on Agile execution, stakeholder engagement, and delivery optimization. Focus on removing impediments, refining product backlogs, and driving continuous improvement of Agile practices across the organization.

Location: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Must be based in or be able to work from the office at least four days a week.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 CAD/year

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day execution of one or more Scrum or project teams for the Finance systems portfolio.
• Facilitate release and sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with the Product Owner to organize, prioritize, and refine the product backlog.
• Identify and remove impediments (risks and issues) to accelerate delivery and meet business objectives.
• Coordinate UAT testing with end users and communicate progress through status reporting and governance checkpoints.
• Collaborate with Architects and Developers to resolve technical challenges and standardize delivery best practices.

Requirements

• Experience working in fast-paced environments with production releases occurring every 2-4 weeks.
• Proficiency in Agile sizing techniques and ability to improve team velocity and maturity.
• Familiarity with knowledge management tools such as SharePoint and Confluence.
• Must be able to comply with the workplace model of spending at least four full days each week working in the office.
