Associate - Equity Research (Energy Transition, Industrials, Energy)

TL;DR

Associate - Equity Research (Finance): Producing research reports and financial models for companies in renewable energy and industrials with an accent on valuation analysis and industry trend monitoring. Focus on developing complex financial models, conducting primary research with Key Opinion Leaders, and articulating investment theses.

Location: New York, NY. In-office presence required 4 days per week.

Salary: $125,000–$175,000 base

What you will do

• Develop and utilize financial models to support investment recommendations and client communications.
• Draft in-depth research reports, including investment strategies, data interpretation, and initial coverage assessments.
• Perform primary research by conducting surveys, polling professionals, and engaging with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Monitor daily market developments and keep senior analysts informed of significant news.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with company executives and institutional investors.

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of fundamental equity research experience including financial statement analysis.
• FINRA SIE/Series 7, Series 63, Series 86, and Series 87 licenses are required.
• Proficiency in building and updating financial models and projections.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
