Financial Analyst (Energy Valuation)

hirify.global is building a software platform for electronic asset recovery that identifies, tracks, and maximizes the residual value of devices within the circular economy.

What you will do

• Analyze customer projects, profitability, pricing, operational performance, and financial KPIs.
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, operating plans, dashboards, and recurring leadership reports.
• Design scalable finance workflows and automate manual reporting and accounting activities.
• Support month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, financial controls, tax compliance, and coordination with accountants, tax advisors, and auditors.
• Analyze energy assets, build insurance and project finance models, calculate raw material and critical mineral content, and perform commodity-price sensitivity analysis.
• Support fundraising, investor reporting, strategic planning, and cross-functional work with leadership, customers, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, or related functions.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and tax regulations.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, plus experience building reports, dashboards, and financial processes.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA.
• ASA or MAI appraisal designations, or USPAP-compliant experience.
• Experience with early-stage or venture-backed companies, fundraising, investor relations, or strategic finance.
• Experience with automation tools, financial systems, business intelligence platforms, or scalable finance processes.
• Experience in the energy, minerals, recycling, or commodities sectors.
