TL;DR

Associate/VP Capital Markets Officer (Energy Transition): Driving and executing energy transition financing deals including loans, bonds, and private placements with an accent on market intelligence, structuring, and syndication strategies. Focus on analyzing market developments, pitching to clients, negotiating mandates, and managing investor relationships in project finance and energy transition sectors.

Location: Hybrid in New York (US) – typically 2 days remote and remaining days onsite. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis required; no visa sponsorship. Ability to travel regionally and globally up to 20%.

Salary: $140,000 - $230,000

What you will do

  • Develop energy transition and project finance market intelligence by tracking loan and bond market developments.
  • Collaborate with coverage bankers to identify client needs and prepare discussions/presentations.
  • Advise, pitch, and negotiate financing proposals with issuer clients.
  • Assess and structure loan, bond, and USPP financing solutions.
  • Develop and execute syndication strategies while managing investor relationships.
  • Interface with relationship managers, clients, banks, insurance companies, and other investors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience; 3+ years in Project Finance market.
  • Solid understanding of Project Finance modeling, financing structures, and credit risks.
  • Familiarity with key banking peers and investors in PF and ET markets.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% regionally and globally.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
