What you will do

• Perform mechanical design of capital equipment, subassemblies, and components based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Conduct analytical studies including pressure vessel analysis, heat transfer, material structural analysis, and fluid dynamics.
• Collaborate with electrical, process, and software engineering teams to ensure total system design requirements are met.
• Develop prototypes by creating test plans and conducting experimental tests.
• Generate and modify Bill of Materials (BOM) and release engineering documentation through the ECO process.
• Provide hands-on support to manufacturing operations and continuously develop design standards to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D/3D CAD systems.
• Location: Based in Horsham, PA.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and troubleshooting devices.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with high-purity gas and wet chemical plumbing system design (valves, fittings, etc.).
• Knowledge of robotics, motion control, motor selection, and SEMI regulatory standards.
• Experience designing equipment for cleanroom environments and creating P&ID.
• Finite element analysis (FEA) experience for structural and thermal/fluid studies.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.
