Construction Project Manager

Location: Must reside in or near Metro Detroit or be willing to relocate; principally in-person hybrid work model with frequent regional travel and approximately 20% overnight travel.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year in the listed compensation regions.

What you will do

• Lead construction projects from inception through completion.
• Procure construction and supplemental vendor services required for project execution.
• Coordinate and monitor vendor activities for contractual compliance.
• Coordinate client engagement and facilitate project decision-making.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and project risks while facilitating issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with project and company policies and procedures, while communicating with management and support staff.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management from an accredited college or university.
• 4–8 years of experience in project management, architecture/planning, engineering, or construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and/or Primavera scheduling software.
• Familiarity with BIM.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must reside in or near Metro Detroit or be willing to relocate.

Nice to have

• Experience working on an owner’s facility team or as a consultant.
• Construction cost estimating experience.
• Bilingual Japanese-English or Chinese-English skills may qualify candidates for an exception to the sponsorship restriction.
