Director, Finance (Media)

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Washington, DC) - requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week

Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and oversee financial and accounting functions, including annual budgeting, regular forecasts, and monthly close.
• Analyze P&L and Balance Sheet results to identify major financial drivers and track KPIs.
• Partner with the local station General Manager and department heads to guide strategic decision-making.
• Manage the revenue process, including pacing, rate/volume, and programming analytics.
• Direct, mentor, and develop the Senior Financial Analyst direct report.
• Supervise the capital investment strategy and coordinate annual audits with external auditors and HQ controllership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance.
• 8+ years of work experience in finance, public accounting, or operations.
• Experience leading and managing support staff in a global environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP/AOE/BPC.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Washington, DC office under a hybrid schedule (4 days/week).
