Director – Financial Planning & Analysis

Location: New York City, NY; onsite

Salary: $113,000–$210,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop and manage CapEx and OpEx budgets for expansion initiatives and lead annual budgeting for the Construction function.
• Prepare rolling forecasts, monitor budget-to-actual variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Build and maintain financial models for active and prospective construction and capital projects.
• Track project costs, change orders, contingencies, contractor spend, draw schedules, cash flow projections and funding requirements.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages and support accurate financial close processes related to construction activity.
• Partner with Construction, Real Estate, Corporate Development, Accounting, Procurement, Legal and Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Construction Management.
• 6–8 years of progressive FP&A experience, including 3–5 years supporting construction, real estate or capital project functions.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, CapEx management, draw processes and change order tracking.
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities and expert-level Excel skills.
• Proficiency with enterprise planning tools such as Hyperion and Oracle.
• Ability to work onsite in New York City, NY.
