What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable backend microservices for identity and user lifecycle management.
• Develop authentication and authorization primitives, including OAuth2/OIDC flows and MFA delivery.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC for databases, caches, and message queues.
• Implement event-driven workflows to integrate the identity platform with the broader ecosystem.
• Ensure production reliability through structured logging, metrics, and on-call rotation.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to organization-wide engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of REST API design, HTTP fundamentals, and service communication.
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of IAM concepts: tokens, session management, and OAuth2/OIDC.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Must be able to work with a Serbia-based team.

Nice to have

• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Knowledge of ReBAC, ABAC, or policy-based access control.
• Experience with GDPR/CCPA and privacy-aware system design.
• Background in automotive or IoT industries.
