What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship high-quality technical solutions for identity services that scale across multiple hirify.global services.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and conduct code reviews to ensure extensible and maintainable code.
• Own system health and quality, participating in on-call rotations and managing live incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to write architecture briefs and proposals for technical solutions.
• Define success metrics and develop testing plans to ensure reliability, performance, and security compliance.
• Drive the technical roadmap in alignment with product goals, incorporating new technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience based on degree).
• Proven experience delivering production software in languages such as Go, Ruby, Java, Python, Rust, or C++.
• 2+ years of experience in technical leadership roles (e.g., Tech Lead or Team Lead).
• Demonstrated expertise in large-scale cloud-based system architecture and distributed microservices.
• Experience utilizing AI or agentic workflows for implementation and enhancing impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, MySQL, CosmosDB, or Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency with telemetry tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or Azure Data Explorer.
• Experience working with remote, distributed teams.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python.
