What you will do

• Prepare and submit electronic and paper claims to third-party payers.
• Manage claim denials and resolve billing issues.
• Perform research and resolution for suspended or unbillable claims.
• Post insurance, patient, and site payments accurately.
• Conduct collection activities by contacting patients and payers.
• Prepare and review patient statements.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to San Antonio, TX.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience.
• Proficiency in mathematical computation and intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Understanding of billing regulations for government and other payers.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing.
• Experience in A/R, collections, and revenue cycle management.
