Senior Director, Product Management - Accounting (AI)

Location: US Remote

Salary: $290,800–$436,200 USD annually in Zone 1 locations (CA, CT, DC, MD, MA, NJ, NY, VA, WA); $271,800–$407,600 USD annually in other US locations. International compensation varies by location.

What you will do

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the accounting platform.
• Build AI-powered accounting features for CFOs, small operators, and multi-entity businesses.
• Shape AP, AR, GL, ERP integration, financial visibility, and accounting control experiences.
• Partner with engineering, design, finance, GTM, and customers to validate direction and deliver product value.
• Lead, grow, and advocate for a team of product managers.
• Define metrics covering product quality, adoption, customer sentiment, and business outcomes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership in B2B SaaS environments.
• Deep accounting expertise covering GL structures, AP/AR workflows, and ERP accounting models.
• Experience with Spectrum, Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
• Experience owning complex cross-functional products with architectural and integration dependencies.
• Strong product judgment regarding practical applications of AI in accounting workflows.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder leadership, customer engagement, and trust-building skills; bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Construction or field services accounting experience.
• MBA or graduate degree.
