What you will do

• Serve as a trusted legal advisor to HR and senior leadership on high-risk employment matters.
• Oversee compliance with multi-jurisdictional employment laws including wage/hour, leaves of absence, and discrimination regulations.
• Influence and shape company-wide employment policies and practices.
• Lead or advise on sensitive internal investigations and counsel on complex compensation, ERISA, and immigration matters.
• Manage outside counsel in connection with government agency charges, audits, and litigation.
• Draft and negotiate employment-related documents such as separation and restrictive covenant agreements.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a dedicated employment law practice.
• Active license to practice law in at least one state and ability to become licensed as in-house counsel in Florida.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and communicate legal, financial, and reputational risks.
• Experience providing direct advice to business clients at various organizational levels.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and navigate ambiguity.
