What you will do

• Support employment law matters including policies, contracts, performance issues, and wage and hour compliance.
• Advise on employment issues for M&A deals and manage related outside counsel.
• Collaborate on competitive hire and exit processes across departments.
• Handle subpoenas and requests for employee records.
• Assist with litigation and internal investigations as needed.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve legal process efficiencies.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA accredited law school and qualified to practice law in CA.
• 3-5 years of related experience in a firm or corporate legal department.
• Superior legal writing skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across business units.
