What you will do

• Create and maintain reinsurance risks in core systems ensuring accurate policy terms.
• Manage premium bookings, settlements, and reinsurance recoveries for claims and reserves.
• Support internal and external reporting requirements while meeting strict deadlines.
• Analyze reinsurance data to identify inconsistencies and support data quality initiatives.
• Assist in automation and process improvement projects using data extraction and validation tools.
• Monitor and escalate material issues to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.
• Strong analytical and numerical aptitude with experience working with datasets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage large volumes of work with changing priorities and tight timeframes.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the reinsurance and accounting domain.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance processes.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, or Alteryx.
• Progress towards accountancy or insurance qualifications.
