Salary: $119,323 - $202,850

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Appian applications, including interfaces, process models, and integrations.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to a development team, overseeing daily execution and code quality.
• Translate business and functional requirements into clear technical designs and scalable Appian implementations.
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy solutions and reduce technical debt through refactoring and reuse strategies.
• Partner with program leadership to resolve technical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Evaluate and introduce new platform capabilities such as AI Composer, Process HQ, and Intelligent Document Processing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of application development experience, including 5+ years of deep, hands-on Appian platform experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading Appian development teams and managing delivery outcomes.
• 5+ years of experience designing BPM and workflow-based solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of application architecture, performance tuning, scalability, and security considerations.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• Appian Certified Lead Developer (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).

Nice to have

• Experience operating within scaled agile delivery environments (SAFe).
• Experience designing or supporting Appian solutions in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure).
• Demonstrated track record of staying current with Appian platform releases and introducing new capabilities.
