TL;DR

DfX Project Leader (Consumer Appliances): Managing the Design for Excellence (DfX) initiative portfolio for the Full Automatic Coffee category with an accent on cost reduction, margin improvement, and product competitiveness. Focus on driving cross-functional execution across R&D, Procurement, and Operations to ensure delivery against annual savings targets.

Location: Must be based in Casalecchio di Reno, Italy (Hybrid model).

What you will do

  • Own and maintain the DfX initiative portfolio and annual savings targets.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Product Management, R&D, Procurement, Quality, and Operations.
  • Ensure robust governance, including financial impact tracking, risk assessment, and recovery planning.
  • Identify opportunities for redesign, re-specification, and re-sourcing to improve product competitiveness.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting on DfX performance to management.
  • Drive actions to closure and proactively remove roadblocks to meet delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in program management, product management, procurement, operations, or cost engineering.
  • Proven track record of delivering multi-million Euro cost reduction or margin improvement programs.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in consumer durables, electronics, or appliances.
  • Strong project and portfolio management skills with high financial acumen.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Casalecchio di Reno, Italy.
