Freelance Event Specialist (Milan, Italy)

Location: On-site in Milan, Italy; open only to candidates already based in Milan. No relocation package is offered.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate.

What you will do

• Prepare for events through virtual planning meetings with corporate partners, nonprofit organizations, venues, hosts, and event coordinators.
• Set up, run, and break down in-person team-building and social-impact events.
• Represent hirify.global onsite as the event leader and primary problem solver.
• Coordinate roles and responsibilities across event hosts, nonprofit partners, venues, staff, and corporate clients.
• Manage guest check-in and provide a warm, high-quality customer experience.
• Share event updates, photos, and videos, resolve operational issues, and package materials for return shipment.

Requirements

• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Based in Milan, Italy, with availability for per-event contract work.
• Experience managing complex large-scale events and intimate executive-level events.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and ability to solve problems under pressure.
• Availability for flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and willingness to travel within the local region.
• Ability to lift, slide, and carry up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
