Location: Hybrid role, must be based in or able to work from Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX.

Salary: $140,000–$215,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks for complex web interfaces.
• Develop automated end-to-end UI tests to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with UI engineers to identify root causes and improve testability.
• Conduct exploratory testing using a risk-based approach.
• Build and maintain test infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
• Review technical design documents to integrate quality standards early in the development process.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development or test engineering.
• Extensive experience with modern testing tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and modern UI frameworks.
• Proven track record of designing test strategies for large-scale systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work in a hybrid capacity in Sunnyvale or Austin.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise SaaS products and cybersecurity applications.
• Knowledge of Jira and XRay.
• Experience working in globally distributed teams.
