Senior Cyber Test Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States. Not relocation eligible.

Salary: $77,000–$163,000 per year, based on qualifications, relevant experience, and expertise.

What you will do

• Verify the consistency and quality of products throughout the development lifecycle.
• Work with internal and customer stakeholders to derive system requirements and respond to mission needs.
• Develop test environments by integrating customer tools, systems, frameworks, and related technologies.
• Build and maintain custom test automation frameworks.
• Design and execute test plans, procedures, reports, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership for small teams and interface with customers, end users, technical leads, and program management.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly is required.
• At least 3 years of test engineering or related experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with offensive cyber operations.
• At least 3 years of development experience in Python, Bash, or a similar scripting language.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Linux or Unix systems.
• Technical degree and basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, routing, and VPN technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience building test automation frameworks and developing testing strategies.
• Experience designing, reviewing, and executing test plans and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and virtualization technologies such as Docker.
• Technical leadership experience and the ability to think abstractly while working toward defined requirements.
