TL;DR

Pool Inside Sales Account Manager (Sales): Managing a portfolio of builder accounts to drive revenue and dealer loyalty with an accent on consultative sales and relationship building. Focus on executing the full sales cycle, negotiating contracts, and leveraging product expertise to upsell and cross-sell within the pool industry.

Location: Must be based in or near Charlotte, North Carolina, USA (Hybrid role).

Compensation: $38.00 – $42.00/hour plus annual bonus.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with a portfolio of smaller builder accounts.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls to identify dealer needs and success criteria.
  • Present tailored product solutions to drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Manage a sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and meet quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close new business using company incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales Operations, and Technical Support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in inside sales or account management with full sales cycle responsibility.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, and MS Office.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Charlotte, NC.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills for complex deal cycles.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Formal training in consultative sales methodologies like Solution Selling or SPIN Selling.
  • Deep knowledge of the pool and spa industry market and competitive landscape.
  • Experience managing account transitions between inside and outside sales teams.
