Software Engineer, WebTools (Fullstack)

Location: New York, New York, or Secaucus, New Jersey, United States; four days in the office each week

Salary: $122,188–$158,125 base salary per year, with possible annual incentive compensation and long-term equity participation.

What you will do

• Build and maintain highly reliable full-stack applications and web interfaces supporting foreign exchange and fixed income trading platforms.
• Develop interfaces for researching market activity, configuring trading platforms and market participants, and supporting internal business processes.
• Design PostgreSQL data storage schemas and generate reports that provide business intelligence insights.
• Automate the scanning, identification, and alerting of system health conditions and anomalous activity.
• Apply unit-testing best practices, document technical details, and use AI tools such as Claude and Copilot responsibly to improve productivity and reliability.
• Work with operations and sales stakeholders to capture and refine requirements and iterate toward final products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
• At least two years of experience with Python, full-stack web development, Django or a similar Python framework, JavaScript, PostgreSQL or another relational database, Linux/Unix, and Git.
• JavaScript experience, preferably with React.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience using AI across the software development lifecycle.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Finance industry experience.
