Software Engineer - Intern (Fullstack)

Location: Remote, with possible in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility; based in Bremerton, Washington, USA, with Seattle as an additional location

Salary: $52,900–$108,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications.
• Develop fullstack solutions using front-end and back-end languages.
• Build software and systems from initial vision through production readiness.
• Identify system improvements while considering current architecture, operating environments, and future enhancements.
• Help clients solve complex problems in a fast, agile, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Experience developing software programming applications and complete end-to-end solutions.
• Experience with one or more of Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, Node, PHP, or Drupal.
• Experience with front-end and back-end languages, including SQL.
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, or software products.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice to have

• 1+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing existing code samples.
• Experience acquiring client requirements and optimizing workflow automation.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Bachelor’s degree.
