What you will do

• Bridge business and IT by translating complex business needs into structured requirements and implementation-ready specifications.
• Define and articulate product objectives, scope, and constraints aligned with business goals and long-term strategy.
• Drive agile delivery by prioritizing backlog items, writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira or Azure DevOps, and supporting developers during implementation.
• Own process design by analyzing, modeling, and optimizing business processes and recommending improvements for scalable solutions.
• Ensure product quality by designing and executing regression testing strategies, validating releases, and identifying risks and change impacts.
• Enable stakeholder collaboration by facilitating communication, managing expectations, and delivering clear updates via presentations and documentation in Confluence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Experience in the Insurance industry.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of databases with SQL/MySQL, plus strong understanding of SDLC and process modeling techniques.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Miro (or similar).

Nice to have

• Experience with pseudocode writing.
• Basic technical knowledge (HTTP methods, Postman, sequence diagrams).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Economics, or related field.
